Welcome to Davie Elementary: Home of the Mighty Mustangs!

I am so thrilled to be the administrator of such a wonderful school that is “galloping toward success” by focusing on student development and progress through school, home and community collaboration. We want our students to be happy and thrive at Davie Elementary and believe that families play a key role in our success. You are encouraged to participate in all school activities designed to promote student achievement, family togetherness, community involvement, and school spirit. The child who knows that his or her family is involved in and supports school programs will demonstrate greater academic success and have a genuine goal of learning.

The Mission of Davie Elementary School is to provide a strong, safe academic setting in which excellence is the standard for all students, through a combined partnership of home, school and the community. To accomplish these goals, we focus on teacher/student relationships, demand high performance, hold to high expectations through implementation and monitoring, and provide meaningful opportunities and experiences. At Davie Elementary, we create an environment where courtesy and kindness prevail and there is a respect for differences in other people, customs, and cultures. We believe in character education, life wellness learning, and fair and consistent discipline that encourages students to be responsible for their learning, actions as well as care and respect for others.
